So, in preparation for college, I am in need of a laptop. There are several that I have in mind, but the two that I have come down to are an Alienware m14x and a Macbook Pro. Both are roughly the same in respect to cost, but the Alienware I can build better for cheaper. Also, I am a huge Apple fan but unfortunately I cannot build a MBP how I want it for under $2000. The only downfall that I can find right now in the Alienware is that it is running Windows. That is relatively an easy thing to fix however, because there are plenty of YouTube examples of people making Alienware laptops into Hackintoshes. So the choice comes down to this, should I buy an Alienware and make it a dual-booting Hackintosh or should I buy a MackBook Pro? I’m gonna find out here in the next couple of months. Check back when I get the money.
